Thread: DIY Dana 300 Twin Stick for about $40

parts

4 - 1/4" x 1.5" bolts and nuts
1 - 5/8" x 2.5" bolt and nut
4 - 5/16" nylon nuts
1 pack of 5/16" flat nylon washers
1/4" washers
2-3ft of 1/8" x 1" flat steel bar
3ft - 3/16 x 1.5 flat steel bar



start off with the 1" bar with 2, 5.5" pieces and make a twist in the middle. drill hole where needed.




now the 1.5" bar with no twist about 4" long a piece. drill 5/8" hole for the two plates, makin them snug against the case.


bend left shifter to fit accordingly and the right shifter can be straight. add 5/16" nylon nuts as spacers accordingly. add shift sticks to the 45's on top to wherever u want the sticks to be bent.






I will cut and bend the sticks more once I have the jeep in front of me.

thanks man. arts gonna hate me but I might be runnin the northwest fab cable shifters instead. I like the fact I can put the shifters anywhere. like in my stock location.

i told him to do the nwfab cable shifters and he wanted to do a DIY... so all that work we did was for nothing because he decided after finishing that he just wants to do the nw fab version like i originally suggested

but then again I may not. but I I do the 300/231 doubler I want tripple sticks

Can't you get a 4:1 kit for the d300? if so, why do the doubler?

4:1 sucks for anything but crawling. A doubler is best of both worlds.
